Fee Structure below
Total Fee: R18,500 (excluding activation fee to liquor board upon approval, which is half of the license fee)
Included in My Fee:
- Collection of police clearance (excluding payment to police station for fingerprints)
- Gazette advertisement
- Two newspaper advertisements
- Zoning Certificate and LAA from municipality
- National Tourism and Hospitality Association membership fee
- Registration fee to liquor board
- All paperwork including affidavits, motivation, and description
- Submission and follow-up at liquor board
Exclusions (Can be Requested at Additional Fee):
- Plan of premises
- Two standard condition certificates (Health and Fire Department)
- Collection of liquor license once issued (delivery fee charged)
Exclusions:
- Activation fee of License (payable to Liquor Board once license has been approved)
Important Notes:
- Premises Assessment: Before starting the application, I will assess the land use or zoning rights on the property to ensure permission from the municipality. The deposit for this assessment is NON REFUNDABLE.
- Comprehensive Application: I will endeavor to submit a fully comprehensive application; however, license approval is still at the liquor board's discretion. Timeframe is subject to Liquor Board's workload.
- Nominal Assessment Fee: Depending on your location, a nominal fee will be charged for the assessment. This fee will be deducted from the deposit amount if proceeding with the application.
- Documentation Validity: Police Clearance certificate, Tax Clearance, NTHA Certificates are valid for 1 year from the date of issue.
- Complete Applications Only: I can only submit complete applications. If for any reason I do not have all documents for submission and advertisements have been done, the application will then stand over to the next submission date, and re-advertisements must be done at the cost to the client.
